The breakfast spread was a culinary dream—fresh fruits and a buffet that had me diving into pastries, proteins, and more. Plus, the hotel has a cozy bar with happy hour giving off chill vibes. The nearby pizza joint was a happy surprise. I never thought I'd crave pizza in Iceland!
The location felt a bit distant from the heart of Reykjavik, making the trek a tad cumbersome, especially in the chilly wind. The room size was also on the small side, which might not be everyone's jam for a leisure trip.

Modern amenities and exceptional breakfast
The hotel impressed with its modern design and clean facilities, offering a fantastic breakfast spread with options like fresh fruits and pastries. The staff were extremely helpful, providing local tips and assisting with tour bookings, which added to the experience. The only downside was the limited selection of nearby restaurants, but a lovely pizza place next door saved the day.

Comfortable beds helped a bit during our stay.
We encountered several frustrating issues during our visit. The bathroom trash was full upon our arrival, which was quite off-putting. Even after requesting housekeeping, the bed sheets were not changed throughout our four-night stay. For over $300 a night, I expected far better than this level of service. It's disappointing when a hotel touts an eco-friendly approach but fails to deliver basic cleanliness.
